The Redback Impedance Meter is an absolute necessity for all PA system installers.
This impedance meter for ‘dummies’ designed and manufactured by Altronics calculates and displays speaker loads in watts. Most impedance meters on the market display the impedance in ohms, leaving the installer to calculate the system wattage. Measures and calculates speaker loads for both 100V and 70V line PA systems up to 5000 Watts in power. The unit is housed in a compact durable handheld case. 117H x 79W x 33D mm.
The Impedance Meter is powered from a 9V battery which is supplied (note: The battery supplied is not rechargeable). The battery can be replaced with a 9V rechargeable model such as the model listed in accessories below, which can be recharged via the inbuilt charging socket. This socket is suitable for connection to a 12V DC plugpack or car accessory socket. The Altronics Q 2002 charging pack provides all the necessary components for charging.
