The Redback A 4946 receives audio from compatible Redback Cat5e/6 transmitters, converts the signal to line level and outputs to RCA and 3.5mm connectors.
The output volume is screwdriver adjusted via the trimpot on the front of the unit.
The unit is powered from 24V DC, which can be connected to the DC socket on the rear of the unit, or it can be supplied through the Cat5/6 cabling from other compatible Redback products. A 24V DC plug pack is supplied for connection to the DC socket.
It can be connected to compatible Redback products such as the A 4940 and A 4944. These products have either a 3 pin XLR (A 4940) or Dual RCA (A 4944) input and transmit this audio down the Cat5/6 connection to A 4946.
