Due to the fine litz construction of the single wires the overall construction achieves a good flexibility. Each of the network lines is shielded against external interferences by an overall screen made of a braided copper mesh plus a foil screen per wire pair (PimF).
With the 10 Gbit-capable SC-Mercator 4 x CAT.7 up to 4 high-speed ethernet or compatible signals can be transmitted simultaneously.
