The high density acoustic foam layer allows the microphone to "breathe" while dampening surrounding noise and limiting echoes and reflections. This creates cleaner, more focused audio. Two outer panels can easily be folded inward to create a tigther isolation chamber for detailed audio recording. The screen can be easily mounted on a microphone stand or on its optional table base.
