However, it is even better suited as a highly flexible, mobile and cold-resistant microphone, AES/EBU and DMX cable!The hard-wearing and halogen-free soft HTPE jacket guarantees pleasant handling, easy winding, low-stretch winding and unwinding and is ideal for moving applications as well as indoor and outdoor installation.The 6.7 mm thick outer jacket is also highly water-repellent and UV-resistant and prevents unintentional knotting or slipping of the wire pairs. The SC-BINARY 225 Soft-HTPE is double-shielded by an aluminized fleece and a dense CU braid. We use a supple class 6N copper (OFC99.9999%), which guarantees an incredibly high number of bending cycles and an enormously long life expectancy. The soft HTPE jacket specially developed for SOMMER Cable is biologically harmless, easily degradable and recyclable.
